Fusion Paper Hearts Challenge

Hello to you...

I'm popping in with a card for the new challenge over at Fusion Card Challenge. The theme this week is Paper Hearts. Remember last week when I said I was a color girl and just had to have color on my cards? Well I guess I'm eating my words, because this is about as neutral as can be. As you can see, I totally went with the sketch this week. I've been dying to ink up these fun little critters from Mama Elephant's Three Amigos stamp set. Aren't they just the cutest? Mama E sure does come out with some of the cutest stamps!

Come play and link up with us! I'd love to see what you create! Don't forget to hop on over to the blog to check out the rest of the DT's cards.

Until next time,
Brandi

Sugar Pea Designs Sketch #39

Hello...

I'm popping in with a fun card for the latest Sugar Pea Designs Sketch Challenge #39. The sketch this week is a fun and simple one...it leaves plenty of room for a clean and simple approach with lots of white space, if you choose. I used a couple of images and a sentiment from the Caffeine Addict stamp set. This is my favorite set from Sugar Pea by far! LOVE!!! I was able to paper piece the entire frozen coffee image. If you don't like to fussy cut like me, Sugar Pea offers a set of die cuts for this stamp set. What do you think?

This month we have a guest designer joining us...Lisa Johansen!!!

I'd love for you to come play along. Don't forget that there's an opportunity to win a 75$ gift certificate to the shop! Below is a list of the rest of the DT. Also, we added another face to the crew...Kerin Sylvester!!! Hop on over for more inspiration!

Create with Critters

Hello...

Hope you're having a great start to the week. Mine has been a little wonky considering my Pathfinder wouldn't start and I set of the house alarm, forgetting the password. Oh my, what a morning!

I was able to do a little crafting this weekend and created this fun card for the latest Simon Says Wednesday Challenge. The theme this week is to create a critter inspired card. I watercolored up these cute animals from Mama Elephant's Tandem Ride and Extras stamp sets. Aren't they adorable?

That's it for me today. Have a great day.

I'd love for you to come play along. Don't forget that there's an opportunity to win a 75$ gift certificate to the shop! Below is a list of the rest of the DT. Hop on over for more inspiration!

Gladly she accepted and you can view her fabulous card over at the Fusion blog.

For my card I chose to create it based on the inspirational photo. The gorgeous flowers and color combination got me. So pretty, right? It makes me think of Spring. Post Merry Christmas Card

Hello,

I'm popping in with a post-Christmas card to share with you. I created this card last week for the Butterfly Reflections Ink DT. My last DT post, as the new girls are taking over in January! There are some fabulous new designers!!! So hop on over and check them out here.

For this card I used this cute Christmas Antlers stamp set. All of the patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Juniper Berry paper line. LOVE!

Did you have a fun Christmas? Our holiday is still ongoing as my mom is up visiting from Texas! It's so nice to have her here and our little Max loves his nana! One highlight we had from Christmas was that our big family took a trip on the Polar Express and headed to the North Pole. It was so cute to see the little ones faces as we boarded the train and headed North. The train ride was based on the book and movie. They served us hot chocolate and cookies. Elves and Santa even made an appearance. It was Priceless!

Until next time!

Peace and Joy

Hello,

Hope you're having a great start to the week. The hubby and I got a lot of Christmas shopping done this weekend for our little one. I am so excited for Christmas to come and see the look on his face! We also put up our tree yesterday and made our house all festive! It makes our home so warm and cozy with Christmas lights, stockings and decorations on display. Did you do any Christmas activities?

I shared this card on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog last week and wanted to share it with you in case you missed it. This is a great card to mass produce for all of those Christmas cards that need to go out. I inked up the poinsettia from Altenew's Poinsettia and Pine stamp set with my Zig markers. Next I added a fun sentiment and patterned paper, voila! Easy Peasy!

That's it for me today. Until next time...

Baby It's Cold Outside

Hello to you...

I'm popping in with a card I shared last week on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. This card was really simple to make as most of it consisted of patterned paper. The wreath stamped image and the pattern paper are all from the Pinkfresh Studios Christmas Wishes line. This would be a great card to whip up fast for that person who sends you a Christmas card, but you didn't send them one and now you're scrambling to send one out the next day. Bahahaha! Has that ever happened to you!?!

Thank you so much for stopping by today...

Happy Thanksgiving Eve

Hello...

Are you getting your exercise in today before you stuff your face full of turkey tomorrow??? What are your plans? We will be enjoying Thanksgiving with my in-laws and a couple of friends. I am so excited! My friend is bringing a cake native to New Orleans called Doberge cake. It is a layered cake consisting of a minimum of 6 layers. The main flavors of it are chocolate or lemon. Have you ever heard of such? Yummy!!!

I wanted to share with you a card I made using Mama Elephant's Reindeer Games and Christmas Spirit stamp sets. The images in each set are absolutely adorable and festive! What do you think?

That's it for me today. I will be popping in tomorrow with a card for you using more Mama Elephant sets and to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving (to those that celebrate)!

Until tomorrow...

Oh Joy...Take 2

Hello fellow crafters...

I'm popping in with another card I created using Mama Elephant's Twinkle Town stamp set, except this time I used the city scene! I love it! It just screams Christmas in NY to me...

Have you ever been to NYC during Christmas time? I live 2 hours outside of the city and we go every year. I just adore the decorated store fronts, Rockefeller Christmas tree and the decorations galore. It never gets old!

Until next time...

Oh Joy

Hello crafty friends...

I'm popping in with a card I made using one of my newest Mama Elephant Christmas sets called Twinkle Towns. Isn't this Village scene just the cutest?

I colored the village with my watercolor pencils and Zig markers. I love how the scene is set within an ornament. Those girls at Mama Elephant come up with the most unique stamps!

That's it for me today.
Until next time...

Hello and Happy Saturday to you...

I'm popping in with a card I shared yesterday on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog. I just adore Avery Elle's Snow Cap Elle-ments Dies and Snow Much Fun stamp set. I used both on this card to create this fun winter scene. What do you think?

Do you have any plans this weekend? Do tell...crafting?

Fusion Card Challenge - Warm Welcome

Hello...

I'm popping in with a card for the latest Fusion Card Challenge. The theme this week is Warm Welcome. How gorgeous is this inspirational photo? Wow! It just screams Fall, cozy and warm, am I right?

For my card I chose to go with the photo in lieu of the sketch. I wanted the Pumpkin Everything stamp from Neat and Tangled to be the focal point and the various patterned paper from Basic Grey's Juniper Berry paper pad to be an accent. I added a touch of color with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to the pumpkin but left most of the image void of color.

What do you think? Want to give this challenge a try? Head on over and check out the rest of the DT's amazing creations for more inspiration!

Until next time,
Brandi
