What a Catch

Image
This is the second card that I made with the designer paper that has images of Valentine's Day postal stamps on it. This image is so cute. What a catch? I added a few felt flowers, rhinestones and punched hearts. One thing I found that I absolutely love using is the notebook paper I used as a background. This paper comes in a pad of about 20 sheets and is from Making Memories. I love the ruffled edges. Bye for now!

I was tagged!!!

Yeah! I was tagged by my friend Julie ( http://juliecameron.blogspot.com/ ) from Canada! That means that she has given me a fun task to do and I must forward the fun task on to others. It is a way to get to know someone better. So the rules are to go into your pics on the computer and choose the 6th folder and the 6th picture in that folder..... and this is the picture that was there.... Let me explain! My husband, dog and I are huge Oklahoma Sooner fans. Why you say, considering we did not go to college there? Well to make a long story short, we just are! This year the Oklahoma Sooners made it to the college football national championship game and played the Florida Gators. My husband, his brother and dad went to the game. Being to expensive I did not and neither did my dog! So my husband brought home a souvenir, a Florida Gator chew toy for the dog. This is a picture of "Shea" in her Oklahoma Sooner jersey with the chew toy. Too cute! If you look really hard you can see tha

Dream Boat

Over the next few days I will share with you a few Valentine's Day cards that I made using the "COOLEST" paper, ever! I was at one of the big scrapping stores and found some designer paper that had multiple Valentine postal stamps all over it. They were so colorful. I cut the stamps out and made a collection of six Valentine's Day cards. The first I will show you has a cute sailboat with the expression "Dream Boat"!

Beware of Dog...

Image
My husband is a mail carrier and he received the cutest gift for Christmas. I had to share it with all of you. It is a salt and pepper shaker. The mail carrier is the salt and the dog is the pepper. There is a magnet that connects them. How Cute! When I first saw this I laughed so hard!

Color Inspiration Challenge #39

Hey ya'll! I absolutely loved the color combo by Kristina ( http://www.kernerdesign.com/ ) this week. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I used this as an opportunity to start on the V-Day cards! I think I will give this one to the hubby! I found this bee stamp at the dollar store (I think) and thought that it would be cute some day to use on a card (just not sure when). I liked the way it turned out and I got to use my "Slice" machine for the lettering! Love the "Slice" machine! Thanks for looking :)

You Are So Kind...

Hey all! I have attached some thank you cards that I have been working on. My husbands cousin is getting married in Las Vegas (Whoo Hoo!) in June and her mother asked that I design some thank you cards for her wedding shower. I bought the bella rose designer series paper from Stampin' Up and loved it so much that I used it for these cards. It is great because I can mix and match the patterns since they all go so well together. I also added these felt flowers and rhinestone brads. Love it!

Color Inspiration Challenge #38

Did anyone have as hard of a time as I did with this color challenge by Kristina ( kwernerdesign .com)? I love the colors but trying to tie them all together did not seem to work for me. The pink and red went well together but by throwing the orange in, my brain went crazy!!! I hope you all still like the card. Let me know what you think that I could have done different. Don't be to harsh though! :)
