Disney World Part 1...

My husband and I took a vacation to Disney World. It is definitely the "Happiest Place on Earth!" We try to go once a year, when we can. There is so much to do for not only children but adults and we take full advantage of it all. We took so many pictures (about 400). I know I can not show them all, so I picked out a few of my favorites. I will share them with you over the next couple of days, since their are so many.

One day we went to Animal Kingdom. We absolutely love this park because it has my husband's favorite ride "Expedition Everest". The ride takes you through a snow capped mountain in search for a "Yeti" also known as a hairy, scary beast! Our first experience on the ride was tricky. We ended up getting stuck at the top of the mountain and had to walk down 14 flights of stairs through the mountain. Pretty cool though, because we got to see behind the scenes. Although we were not allowed to take pictures at that point, I was able to get a photo of Matt in front of Expedition Everest in the background.

Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks because of all the animals you get to see. They have little safari's you can go on. We did not do that this time because we have done so many times in the past. We thought we would shake things up and walk through the land of the apes and tour the aquarium area. I got some great shots of some animals. Look how the ape below on the left is just "Chilling"!

One thing Animal Kingdom is known for is the "Tree of Life" (pictured below). This tree is huge and man made of course. When you get up close to it you will notice that all along the trunk are carved out animals. It is one of the neatest things. Inside of the tree is an auditorium that houses "It's Tough to be a Bug" 3D special. I highly recommend it if you go.

Around every corner of the park there is something to do or see. Below is a picture of us goofing around!
