A Better Place


Happy Sunday!

The hubby and I are headed to Connecticut, for the day, for our niece and nephew's first birthday party. Yum cake...am I right?

I created this card last week because I wanted to try my hand at gold embossing. I like how it turned out but I find it kind of hard to photograph gold accents. What do you think? The light has to hit it just right to shimmer.

I used Avery Elle's Peonies stamp set for the image and Avery Elle's Write It stamp set for the sentiment.

Its beautiful. The gold accents do look absolutely gorgeous, but I must say, your card looks just lovely even without it! I loved the layout too - shows off each element in the card so well!
