Woodland Friends

It's Friday! Can I get an Amen?!?! I only had a three day work week as I've been on vacation earlier this week at the beaches of Long Island. We went with another couple that has a child our sons age so we had a great time. My son (who is 14 months) loves the beach and eating sand. Ahhh! I had to watch him every second. When I would tell him "no" or "don't do that", he would just laugh and grab a handful of sand to eat. Oh my!

I'm sharing a card I made for the latest Mama Elephant Flickr August challenge. The theme this month is watercolors. I'm also entering this into the Simon Wednesday challenge where the theme is Anything Goes.

The images and sentiment on my card are from the Woodland Friends Mama Elephant set.

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Cute card! And I had to laugh when I read your story about the beach. I'm going through the same thing with our puppy, who is just shy of 4 months old. I take her hiking a lot, and I love it, but sometimes I feel like a broken record because she wants to eat everything she finds---deer and coyote poo, trash, dead birds, ya-da ya-da. I have to watch her like a hawk and am constantly saying, "leave it," "leave it." Kind of funny how many similarities we're seeing between her and little humans. HA!

Loving how bright and colorful this is and then the contrast with that dark squirrel.
