Thanksgiving Eve

***Don't forget about my holiday blog candy giveaway that can be found here! You have until Thursday of this week to enter***

Hey friends!
Happy Thanksgiving Eve for those of you celebrating in the States! I am in full prep mode for Thanksgiving. I wanted to participate in the food spread this year so my husband and I offered to make pumpkin pie. Easy Peasy right? Most people have some common knowledge when it comes to making pies. Me, not so much. I went to the grocery store with recipe in hand, only to get stumped on pie crust types. Lord have mercy, I couldn't figure it out. Who would have thought that there would be so many pie crust types (graham cracker, chocolate, baked, pre-baked). Well I searched down the aisles for a woman that looked nice enough to spend time explaining the pie crust rules. After a good laugh by her, she guided me to the freezer aisle where the proper pie crust was, mission accomplished! Now I just have to bake it. Wish me luck.

On a side note, I wanted to share a card I made for the latest BE Inspired Challenge #15 over at The Alley Way blog.

Thanks for stopping by,
Brandi
