Book Review - Ruined...

Hey y'all,

Hope you are doing well and enjoying the weekend thus far. I made a little card using my new stamps titled Boob Tube from Paper Smooches. I just look forward to the beginning of every month just to see what Kim comes up with. Her stamps are so stinkin' cute!

On a side note, I wanted to share a book with you that I just finished reading because it was so good. My boss gave it to me to enjoy after she finished it. It is called Ruined by Paula Morris. You can find it here, if you are interested. It is about a girl from NYC, who spends a year with her aunt in New Orleans, while her dad is on a job in China. While she is in New Orleans, she uncovers dark secrets about the elite society in the historic city. There is a little supernatural twist when she meets a ghost along the way that helps her solve a mystery that dates back a little over a century. I just found this book so fascinating because I use to live in Louisiana and it dives into the rich history that is there. New Orleans is definitely a special and unique place to visit.

Alrighty, well have a great rest of the weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Super duper cute card, Brandi! LOVE those boob tube images, the way you have the buttons just peeking out from under the focal panel, the border punch, and the cord sentiment!!! Awesome design, girl!!!
