Free Your Creativity...

Hey y'all,

This has been an eventful day by far. Most of you are unaware that my husband is a mail carrier. I had no idea how dangerous of a job that can be until I was married to one. He is always coming home with some kind of story, got bit by a dog (yes this really happens), homeless man tried to break into his postal truck (yes this even happened). Today, however, I was not prepared for the phone call that a 3' x 3' sheet of ice fell off of an awning three stories high and hit him in the shoulder. Seriously? Well to make a loooong story short, he is doing well and his xrays only show deep bruising. Thank goodness! I swear he can write a book on his daily adventures.

While he is resting, I wanted to pop in to share a card I made for the latest challenge #40 at Wee Memories. The theme this week is "Free Your Creativity" and create whatever. I had this cute little birdie paper from Basic Grey and thought that it would be great for a baby card. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by,
Brandi

Oh my gosh! I hope he is doing okay! My dad was a mail carrier, too...who knew it was so dangerous? ;)

Oh my! I'm glad to hear your hubby escaped with minor injuries. My hubby is a UPS delivery guy, so I can definitely relate!

Glad to hear your DH is ok! Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time - what are the odds of that happening!

Lovely card Brandi. That cute birdie paper does make a sweet baby card.

Oh my goodness, I didn't know your hubby was a mail carrier. The poor guy, I'm glad he's resting. I had a friend whose dad was a mail carrier, and he used to carry dog treats to help befriend the dogs :) Oh, I almost forgot, your card is adorable, such a great idea.
