Yankee Belle Stamper

Hey girls, Just popping in to share a card I made for the latest Curtain Call Color Challenge. I just love the colors Stacey came up with this week. They are so bright and cheery! I bought these cute little flowers at Michael's a while back and thought that they would work well with the design of the card. What do you think? Have any of you girls carved a pumpkin yet? The hubby kept telling me all day that he had a surprise for me when I got off of work. I had no clue what it could be until I pulled in the garage and he had two big pumpkins, a carving set and a design booklet with different images to carve into the pumpkins. I was so excited. We love Halloween and take pumpkin carving very serious, as we see it as a competition. Each year we separately carve an elaborate design and than take pictures and have our family decide the winner. It is all in fun, but I did win last year! Thanks for stopping by, Brandi

Hey girls, I wanted to pop in to share a card I made for the latest Curtain Call Color Challenge found here. I used one of my newest stamp sets from Practicing Creativity. I love the hot air balloon images. I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. The hubby and I went to see a couple of movies (Karate Kid and A-Team). They were sooooo good. Well I turn the big 3-0 tomorrow, so I am really excited! I don't have any big plans because the hubby and I are saving our money for a Disney trip in September. I can't wait! We already have everything booked, from massages to where we are going to dinner. I know we are nuts but we love it! Hope you have a great Monday. Brandi

Hey y'all, Is anyone as excited as I am? I mean the Hills premieres tonight! It is sure to be filled with drama, plastic surgery mishaps, drama, Speidi and more drama!!!! I loooooove that show. Alright I need to get a life, but seeing some of the things these girls go through, makes me enjoy my simple life that much more! Anyway above is a card I made that meets the criteria for two challenges. Whoo-hoo! Love when that happens. If I can find a challenge that provides me the colors (Curtain Call Color Challenge Act  27 ) and a challenge that provides me the sketch (2S4Y Sketch  51 ), I am all set! I have had the background paper for the longest time and was so happy that it met the color combo. I love walking the aisles of Michael's and filling my basket with designer paper, but most of the time it just sits on the shelf unused. I do that with a lot of my scrapbook supplies now that I think of it! So being able to use at least one sheet makes it all worth it! Thank...
