Colors of the Season...

Image
Heeeeellllllllllooooooooo! Wow how time flies by when your having fun during a holiday! I hope each and everyone of you had a fabulous Christmas. The hubby and I had a relaxing, snow filled and fulfilling holiday weekend. We spent the holidays with his family. I have to tell you when it comes to presents, the hubby hit the nail right on the head! He bought me a light cube to help take better pictures of my cards. He is definitely feeding my craft addiction! LOL! I haven't set it up yet, so this card was taken with my camera only. I still need to read the directions and find a good place to set it up. I created this card for the latest challenge #36 at Wee Memories. The theme is "Colors of the Season". I bought these cute little snowman, tree and snowflake stickers. I wanted to use them up before it was to late, so I created some "Thank you" winter cards. I needed some to send out to people we received gifts from. Thanks for stopping by, Brandi

Tag your it...

Hey girls, I have something fun to share with you today. My friend  Ann  at Creative Antics tagged me to do the list of fours. It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers a little better. So here is my list: 1. Four shows that you watch: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills CSI: Las Vegas (the original) How I Met Your Mother Big Bang Theory 2. Four things you are passionate about: Family Paper Crafting Disney World Golfing 3. Four words/phrases you say a lot: Whiggy, Whiggy, Whack Wicked Heeeeeeeeeeey! (with a southern drawl) Just kidding, not really! 4. Four things you've learned from the past: Whatever your problem, someone always has one bigger. If you don't believe me, watch an episode of COPS. Everyone has a secret their hiding, I mean everyone and sometimes their hilarious! When things go wrong in life and are out of your control, don't get upset, stay positive and just focus on what can make the situation better. Don't judge a person

CPS #197...

Happy Thursday! Wow can you believe that Christmas is only 9 days away? Yikes! I better get on the ball and figure out what I still need to check off my list of things to do. I have a few more cards to send out, presents to wrap and cookies to bake. Although this time of year can seem to be chaotic for most, I find it so enjoyable. I love....... the new fallen snow that we have received here in NY, the Christmas lights that line the buildings downtown, the glittered ornaments in the village shops, nightly fires in the fireplace, Starbucks white mocha peppermint lattes, and shopping for the perfect gift for my loved ones. I made this card for the latest Challenge #197 at Cards Positioning System. Thanks for stopping by, Brandi

Red, White and Kraft?

Hey girls, Hope you all are having a wonderful week. It has been snowing here in NY so everything is simply gorgeous! Speaking of gorgeous, check out this beautiful photo of inspiration for the latest challenge   #2 over at Jay Gee's   Nook.   I just couldn't resist playing with these colors. I just picked up the latest issue of papercrafts magazine which is full of Valentine's Day ideas. After pouring over the multiple cards in the magazine I was filled with Valentine's Day inspiration, hence my card. Thanks for stopping by, Brandi

Sweet Friend...

Good morning to you! I wanted to share a card that I made for the Scrappy Saturday Challenge #35 over at Wee Memories. The theme this week is to CASE one of your favorite designers. I decided to CASE Maile Belles. I absolutely love her work which you can view  here!  There are various things about here style that I love; the use of bright colors, buttons galore and most importantly a clean and simple design. I tried to combine all of those elements into my card. She never seems to amaze me with every new card she creates. Thanks for stopping by, Brandi

Sweet Baby Girl...

Hello, Hope you had a fun weekend! I just got back from a mini vacation down south. I went for four days to visit my family in Arkansas. It is always so nice when I am able to see my family, eat good ole fried southern food and shop a little! I had a little debacle actually getting there after my flight was canceled due to the weather, but all was well when they booked me on the same flight a day later. I would rather be safe than sorry since I don't fly well in bad weather! I was popping in today to share a card I made for the Congratulations Challenge during Moxie Fabs Favorite Occasions Week! I chose to make a baby card for a new little bundle of joy. Thanks for stopping by for a visit! Brandi

CPS Sketch #195...

Hello, Wow can you believe it is December already? Yikes! Earlier this week the hubby and I were able to put our Christmas tree up, decorations and all. I don't know about you but our family room seems more cozy with a lighted tree in the room. I always love this time of year when I go through the ornament boxes and find some that I have forgotten about. This year I found a vintage Mickey Mouse. He definitely made it on the front of the tree as opposed to the backside. LOL! Today I am popping in to share a card I made for Sketch #195 provided by Card Positioning Systems. I don't know what it is, but I can't get enough of this Christmas tree patterned paper and Retro Christmas stamp set from Practicing Creativity. The sentiment "NOEL" was a new stamp I found in the dollar bin at the local craft store. I thought it was to cute to pass up. Well I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week and thanks for stopping by! Brandi

Scrappy Saturday Challenge...

Hey girls, Just popping in to share a card I made for the latest Scrappy Saturday  Challenge at Wee Memories. The theme this week is bows! I love bows, big ones, little ones, tiny ones! I made a holiday card using a few Christmas tree stamps from Practicing Creativity's Retro Christmas stamp set seen  here.  I am in LOVE with baker's twine that I purchased from my blog friend  Ryann's Etsy  Shop. I just love all the various colors you can get it in! I topped of each tree with a coordinated colored bow to finish off the card. Thanks for stopping by for a visit! Brandi
