Hey girls! I hope you all have had a fabulous, relaxing holiday weekend! The hubby and I have had a wonderful weekend spending time together. It is very rare we get a few days off at the same time. Since he is a mail carrier, he works Saturdays and lately I have been working long nights trying to get a project out. We went to see a couple of movies this weekend, Prince of Persia and Iron Man 2. They both were so great and there was so much eye candy in both! Ha Ha! I wanted to pop in to share a birthday card I recently created for the latest Tuesday Trigger Challenge over at Moxie Fab World. Hey y'all! Just popping in to share a quick card with you. I love this designer paper with the little sock monkeys! I picked it up at this cute little scrapping store in Branson. Too cute! Hope you guys have a great rest of the week. I am counting down the days until this weekend. I am planning, if the weather is nice, to plant some flowers around the yard. Hey y'all, I just wanted to say thank you for all the sweet comments I have received lately. It just brings a smile to my face. I have loved meeting new people and creating great friends in blogland! My nephew is graduating in a week and I couldn't be more happy for him. I wanted to share a graduation card I made for him. I remember the day I graduated high school, I was so excited for what was to come. I couldn't wait to start college and meet new people, but was sad at the same time to leave my friends. College graduation, on the other hand, was scary! I remember sitting there as the names were called. Once I heard mine I thought "Oh my gosh! What now?" The time following was definitely a huge transition with my move to NY and finding a job. I managed to pull it all together in 3 months! Whew, what a rush! It was a lot to get use to, being on my own, but I wouldn't have changed a thing! Thanks for stopping by! Brandi

Hey y'all, I am back from my father/daughter trip to Branson, MO. I had a great time hanging with my dad, shopping, eating and seeing the sights. We tackled so much in four days! Wow were we on the go. I will have to share pics later this week, but I couldn't resist sharing one of my favorites dad took of me at the Hollywood wax museum. Soooo fun! We could not take enough photos with the wax celebrities (James Bond, Hugh Hefner, Forrest Gump and Barbara Eden). On a crafting note I had a few minutes to make a card for my dads birthday this week. I used the colors from the latest Embellish challenge . Hey y'all, Hope your having a fabulous start to the week. I took a day trip to Vermont for a business meeting and it was gorgeous! We passed by all the small ski towns and quaint villages on the way to Montpelier (the capital of Vermont). We went into downtown Montpelier to this cute little diner on the river where they cooked all of their food in an open brick oven! It was soooo yummy. Oh how I love Vermont with the beautiful scenery and amazing historic architecture! Good Times! I wanted to pop in and share this "Thank you" card I made. I was able to use my new border punch the hubby bought me. So thoughtful! He actually walked the aisles of Michael's with me this weekend to find it. He is such a trooper! Isn't it great when our hubby's give into this crazy obsession we have called crafting? Love it! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Brandi
