60th Birthday

Image
I made this card for my Father-in-laws 60th birthday! He loved it, but I tell you what, I find it very difficult to make cards for men. The first thing I did was go through my stash of paper to find something "manly"! Is it just me or is most scrapbook supplies and embellishments geared toward women?

Little Lamb...

My mom's best friend needed a few baby cards to send out and asked me to make a couple. I love the way they turned out. I am "madly in love" with the designer series paper called raspberry tart from Stampin' Up! I seem to be using a ton of it lately and I thought baby cards for a little girl would be perfect! Also, note the little lamb. How Cute! It is actually fuzzy! I got them from the Martha Stewart line.

Mojo Monday # 74...

Yeah! I found this new website ( http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/ ). This website has a card challenge every week. The challenge is called Mojo Monday and it kicks off at the beginning of each week. Those who participate are to make a card using the sketch that is provided. I have attached the sketch for this week and my card. I love the colors pink and green so I decided to incorporate them into a fun spring card! What do you guys think?

Frosty the Snowman...

Alright you guys, I know that Christmas has come and gone but I had to post this card. My friend MaryBeth showed a few of us how to make this card using the top note die cut with the Stampin' Up Big Shot Sizzix Machine. How cute is this? Ribbit, Ribbit...

How cute are these frogs? I was at Michael's and they had a bunch of these painted wooden frogs for three for a dollar. I couldn't pass them up. I thought they would make a perfect embellishment for a Valentine's Day card!

Love Is In The Air...

Alright, these are the last two Valentine's Day cards I made using the Valentine's Day Postal Stamp Designer Paper. The day is almost here, 12 days away, until I will indulge myself with chocolate! (Who am I kidding? I do that everyday!) Hopefully the hubby remembers! If I could have anything on that important day, I would love to have Godiva chocolate covered strawberries! YUM! Although they are about five dollars a piece, they are worth it!

Above are two more of the cards in my Valentine's Day set in which I used the Valentine's Day postal stamp designer paper. This is a quick post because I need to get back to the Super Bowl Game or should I say commercials :)
