I was in the festive spirit while making this card for Kristina's Challenge. I absolutely loved the colors she chose for this week. Nothing says Christmas like red and white with a splash of silver. I have attached a list of supplies below: Paper: Whisper White, Sahara Sand and Riding Hood Red (Stampin' Up) Sizzix: Graffiti Letters Pen: White Signo (Stampin' Up) Ribbon: White with Silver Edging (Michaels) Beads: Red Micro Beads (Stampin' Up)

Time for another color challenge by Kristina (kwernerdesign.com). I absolutely loved the color combo this week. (Great Fall Colors!!!) I was able to use my new flower kit from Stampin' Up and by the way I absolutely love using glitter !!!

Holiday Drive

I absolutely LOVE making holiday cards. This is one of my favorites. I used the Loads of Love stamp set from Stampin' Up. There are many stamps that come in this set to fill the back of the truck (presents, trees, hearts and etc.) This is a great stamp set for many different occasions. I stamped the truck and trees in black on white card stock. I then took my watercolor pencils and blender pen (Stampin' Up) and colored in the stamp. For a little accent I used green velvet ribbon from Michaels (that I absolutely love), blue eyelets and pink thread (which I hand stitched.)

Color Inspiration Challenge 30

I have decided to do a challenge from Kristina Werner. She has a really creative blog ( http://www.kwernerdesign.com/ ) where she holds challenges every week. The challenge is to make a card or scrapbook page using the color combination that she picks out. At the end of the deadline she chooses her top 15. (Fingers crossed!) This is her 30th one and I am just now getting the ball rolling. Oh well! Better late than never. I decided to go with a Christmas theme. That seems to be all the rage this time of year. (Go figure!)

Trick or Treat!!!

A few weeks ago I took a visit to Arkansas to visit the folks'. My mom and 'G' decided to throw a Halloween Costume Party. We had the best time. There were games, margaritas (which are served year round down south) and a costume contest. Which my brother and I won! (I promise it was not rigged!) I have attached a few pics to capture the event. My mom and "G" dressed up as a "roaring 20's" couple. (Got to love the flappers!) My brother in the lime green suit with zebra accent was a PIMP! (Check out the " BLING " around his neck.) I went as a red headed Go-Go dancer. It has been confirmed that I may not have "Rocked" the wig but I definitely "Rocked" the glasses. I even have a First Place Female Costume Winner Pumpkin Trophy to prove it! On a side note, my husband and I had a pumpkin carving contest and I had to show you the pics. Note to self: If you carve a pumpkin two weeks before Halloween it will not last!!!

Birds of a Feather...

This card uses a new stamp set that I purchased from Stampin' Up. I love to go to Michaels or AC Moore and pick out patterned paper that I know will work good together. I used at least three different patterns in this card for a nice color combo. I have listed the supplies below (ones that I can remember) : Stamp Set: Always (Stampin' Up) Chipboard: On Board Blossoms and Basics (Stampin' Up) Inks: Old Olive and Ruby Red (Stampin' Up) Glitter: Purple Sapphire (Martha Stewart) 1/4" Ribbon: Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up) Paper: Assorted (Michaels and Sta mpin' Up) and River Rock (Stampin' Up)

J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!

Can anyone tell me what is better than going to a football game in the fall? Especially when you are seeing the Jets play with the infamous "Brett Favre". My husband, his parents and I had the best time tailgating, buying Favre t-shirts and best of all we won!!!
